Meet Dannie

I am an artist with a deep passion for gardens and flowers, drawing inspiration from their natural beauty and intricate forms. My background as a horticulturist and wedding florist has deeply influenced my creative process, allowing me to bring a unique understanding of plant life and floral design into my artwork. Before beginning a painting, I create large floral installations, carefully arranging fresh flowers to form living compositions. These installations serve as both a three-dimensional muse and a vibrant study, from which I translate color, light, and texture onto canvas. This approach bridges my expertise in horticulture and floral artistry with fine art, resulting in paintings that celebrate nature's elegance and vitality.
