About Me.
My journey began amidst the meticulously tended gardens of private estates on the East Coast, where I honed my skills as a horticulturist. This deep immersion in cultivated nature fostered an intimate understanding of plant life, form, and seasonal rhythms. Transitioning from the structured world of estate gardens, I became a wedding florist, gaining a reputation for wild and exquisite flower installations that burst with life and creativity. These florals are not merely arrangements but living, breathing artworks that challenge conventions and celebrate nature’s exuberance.
My experiences in horticulture and floral design converge in my painting practice in a unique and compelling way. My work reflects the discipline of garden design and the free-spirited energy of floral installations, combining precision with spontaneity. The interplay of light, texture, and color in my work echoes the organic beauty I cultivated and celebrated in both garden landscapes and wedding celebrations. This fusion creates a rare visual language—one where nature’s elegance and untamed vibrancy exist in harmonious dialogue.
I eventually moved back to Georgia and have been painting ever since. These experiences allowed me to explore color, form, and structure on a large scale and have shaped the way I interpret my subjects now.
